"You served your parole, saved the city, and didn't once try to rob someone blind" The Judge said
"Congratulations, Mss. Jinx, you're a free woman" his jovial smile turned serious "Just as long as you obey the law"
Jinx nodded seriously "I will, your Honor"
"So, Jinx, what do you want to do now that you're free?" Wally asked her as she came out of the courtroom
Jinx grinned "I think you know what I want to do… considering what date today is…"
He looked confused for a second, then he laughed "February 14th is that some luck or what, Jinx" he joked
"Pun intended?" she asked
He gave her a quick kiss "Always"
She rolled her eyes at him
"So what would you prefer: dinner in France, a ball in England, lunch in Italy?"
"Something simpler, Wally" she replied
"What then?"
"How about lunch at that little café you took me to about three months ago?" Jinx asked
Wally grinned "Sounds like a plan"
Jinx took the offered hand and they started walking on the direction of the café. If they someone had told her half a year ago that she would end up going to the light side, she would've thought they were crazy. Now, she couldn't see herself changing back to being a villainess.
"Say, Jinx" Wally said after a few minutes of walking
"What is it?"
"I was thinking of traveling a bit, that's what I usually do as a Titan: stay in a city a few weeks, round up crooks, then move on to the next one. Usually, going to cities where there are no Titans nearby, or where they need help"
"I already know all that Wally"
"My point is, would you mind coming with me?"
Jinx rolled her eyes "Wally, I knew you were a roamer since I first laid eyes on you. If I minded that, then I wouldn't have bothered in the first place. Besides, I like traveling"
Wally grinned and kissed her "Traveling is fun, but it gets better when you have someone to travel with"
Jinx couldn't agree more.
