Raving Beast chap7

Raven woke up groggily; she tried to move and heard the clink of chains. Her eyes snapped open. No, not this again. She was chained to a wall, arms chained over her head, feet completely immobilized. She could sense evil all around her, but the rest of the room was hidden by a red curtain. A shadow appeared in the other side of the curtain, and a few seconds later a boy entered. He hadn't changed much since last time. His hair was still that strange dull orangey hue, his skin was still a corpse like purple, and his eyes were still blood red. He was still wearing that cape.
"Really, love, why don't you join me" he asked her once the curtain was closed behind him again
"Where's Beast Boy?" she asked him instead
He raised an eyebrow "That green slime ball? My followers are hungry, I'm sure he'll make a fitting meal for the banquet" he grinned coldly "Want to know what we're celebrating?"
"Let him go, he has nothing to do with this" Raven glared at him
"Oh contraire, my sweet, it is his fault we were not together sooner. I can' easily forgive the slime ball who went inside me and stole the chakra from me" he shrugged "He has to be punished, all of the titans will be punished later, it doesn't matter if he is punished earlier than the rest"
"That chakra didn't belong to you, you stole it from me" Raven reminded him "What's your plan this time, world domination? Shocker"
He laughed a sound that sent chill down her spine "You haven't lost your sense of humor. Insult me all you like: that will not change that fact that I am your husband, and that I will bring peace to the world"
Raven sighed, they had this conversation last time too "You're going to kill everyone who doesn't agree to see the world in our own twisted world"
He shrugged "A few sacrifices in the road to perfecting this society, Mother agrees with me, don't you, mother?"
A demon came from the other side of the curtain and stood beside him.
"An interesting thing happened when you transported me away, you sent me to a dimension filled with demons, they chose to follow me, and together we found a way out back to earth, we aren't at full strength yet, but after a couple of meals" he gave her another wolf-like grin "We'll be ready and the world shall submit to my rule" he turned to leave "I will handle the matter of the changeling now, soon, we shall all feast in glory that my bride has returned to us" he glanced back at her "And before you ask, yes I did implant those dreams so you would come here" he pushed the curtain aside and left. Raven held back a gasp when she saw what was on the other side,
An army of demons.

Beast Boy wanted to kill someone. And he knew exactly who to kill. Brother Blood had just left from behind the curtain where Beast Boy knew they were keeping Raven. He had to find a way to escape from this cell, but his transforming abilities weren't working again. He was sure that was Brother Blood's fault too. Heck, Brother Blood probably implanted those dreams into Raven's subconscious so she would have no choice but to go and figure out what was causing them. He hated that little brat more than before. And he was pretty sure he knew what was for dinner for all these bloodthirsty demons from hell. Beast Boy soufflé.
He frowned, no one stopped Beast Boy from transforming, he didn't care if this kid came back from hell with his own demon army: no one could control his shape shifting and get away with it. Besides Raven. He shook his head and focused all of his energy into transforming into a mouse. His head started to hurt like crazy and he was sure his shirt was soaked with sweat. He opened his eyes and grinned, an odd expression for a mouse to have. He effortlessly passed through the bars of his cage and joined the hundreds of other mice that were scurrying around the floor. A red claw came down and took the mouse that had been standing right in front of Beast Boy.
Suddenly turning into a mouse didn't seem like the best idea ever. He began to run full speed ahead to the other end of the cavern. It had been huge when he was human, now it seemed nearly infinite. He was sure this was one of the hardest things he's ever done, between avoiding the demons who were eating mice –sometimes shamelessly pushing other mice to their doom to save himself- and keeping his form, only a small portion of his brain was focused on running. And he knew it wouldn't be long until that psycho noticed he was gone. But he eventually reached the other side and scurried under the curtain.
He looked up at Raven, craning his poor little mouse neck to make sure her chakra was still there, he didn't want to go fishing into Brother Blood's stomach twice, but he would if he had to. He gave a sigh of relief when he saw it was there. Since he was sure that no one would be here any time soon, he shifted back into human form, wincing when he noticed the long, vertical slash on his side.
"Raven, are you ok, did he bite your or drink your blood?" Beast Boy asked immediately, looking her over for wounds.
"I'm fine, or I will be when we get out of here, Beast Boy they're going to-"
"Eat me? Take over the world?" he finished "I know, he should really learn not to tell his plans to his followers when his prisoner is right there, I don't see why they want to eat me, they have enough mice to grow fat on here" he walked over to her "I'll have you out of this in a second, as soon as I figure out how"
"Just get one of my hands loose so I can get us out of here, without you or me here, Brother Blood won't have anyone to drink blood from, it'll take longer for him to get his strength back, we can go to the tower and get ready for when that happens" she looked at his side, "once we're safe, I'll fix you up"
"It doesn't hurt at all" Beast Boy told her with false bravado "I don't even feel it, unless I move, or breathe" he tapped the chains "These aren't very strong, I might be able to break it if I turned into a T-Rex"
"That's too big, they'll see you" Raven reminded me "Can't you just change part of your body, like just the head, and leave the rest human?"
"I would look stupid, not to mention the head would be too big!" he shook his head "But it's worth a shot, I just want you to know that if I faint it's from lack of blood, not because I'm scared of being eaten by demons"
"Whatever you say, Beast Boy" Raven humored him
Beast Boy carefully shifted his head into a T-Rex, controlling the shift so that it wasn't full size, if the head was too heavy, he wouldn't be able to hold it up. The next problem was reaching the chains, her hands were held up above her head, he couldn't reach them easily. He carefully turned his legs into small giraffe legs, giving him the inch he needed to reach. He was sure that it was the weirdest transformation he had ever done, and he could barely keep the shape. Part of him was about to turn him into a full T-Rex, another into a full giraffe, and a third part was about to snap him back to human shape, and he was sure he would black out when he reverted back, at the very least he would have a colossal headache. The headache was a given, thinking back on all the times he'd blacked out or hit his head in the past 12 hours. He heard something snap right before he lost control of his shape and fell.
Raven lowered her arm and tried to catch Beast Boy. She was sure he'd already blacked out by the time his head hit the floor with a rather loud crack. She willed her powers to work, strengthening her willpower so it was stronger than whatever was preventing her powers from working. If Beast Boy could do it, so could she. She spoke her mantra with a firm voice and the chains holding her dissolved. She picked Beast Boy up and teleported out of there before Brother Blood could come and stop them.
